Junior Orchestra, and Wind Ensemble

PLEASE NOTE: We have a NEW EMAIL ADDRESS....
The Lancaster County Youth Symphony offers
the serious junior-senior high school musician
a worthy musical outlet, and affords the
student an opportunity to perform literature
they might not have access to within their
school ensembles. Membership is chosen through
competitive auditions held each September,
with rehearsals and a concert limited to
three weekends. The "festival style"
weekends are usually held one weekend in
November, January or February, and March.
David Leithmann is the conductor of the Youth
Symphony, and Terry Guidetti is conductor
of the Wind Ensemble; these groups are for
students from grades 9 to college level.
The Junior Orchestra, directed by Ellen Eager,
is for students from 4th to 8th grades.
